Disneyland continues to celebrate 70 years of magic. And in addition to this monumental milestone, Disney just released details on the full schedule of events planned at Disneyland Resort throughout 2026. Here is a bit more info on some of the highlights coming to Disneyland in 2026.
Disneyland 70th Anniversary: Now through August 9, 2026
Disneyland Resort’s 70th Celebration will continue to honor seven decades of happiness through August 9, 2026.
After some of the celebrations events were paused for holiday entertainment, a full plate of entertainment will return in January 2026, including:
- The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade
- Wondrous Journeys
- Paint the Night parade
- Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and pals in 70th Celebration attire at Disneyland Park
Lunar New Year: January 23-February 22, 2026
This year’s celebration of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions is the Year of the Horse, and Horace Horsecollar will make appearances during the festival. Mickey and Minnie return in their Korean-inspired outfits, and several Disney characters will debut all-new outfits with representations of Vietnamese and Chinese attire. Guests may also meet a character from the Pixar Animation Studios film Turning Red.
Celebrate Gospel: February 20-21 and February 27-28, 2026
New for 2026, the Celebrate Gospel annual concert will move to Downtown Disney District for two weekends full of performances by community choirs in Southern California and featuring headlining talent Hezekiah Walker (Feb. 21) and Yolanda Adams (Feb. 28).
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival: March 6-April 27, 2026
The annual celebration of regional cuisine will return to Disney California Adventure in 2026, offering limited-time foods, beverage seminars, culinary demos, and family-friendly entertainment. Festival marketplaces and the popular “Sip & Savor Pass” will return as well.
Bluey Debuts at Disneyland Park: March 22, 2026
Welcome Bluey! The adorable Australian Blue Heeler and her lovable family have taken the world by storm over the last couple years. “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” will transform the Fantasyland Theatre into the grounds of Bluey’s school, where guests can join the fun of Bluey’s best day ever. Throughout the day, Bluey and her sister Bingo will appear live on stage, along with other fun actors and musicians, bringing to life the music and games made popular in Bluey episodes. Guests of all ages are invited to participate in the fun.
The live show will be accompanied with iconic games like Keepy Uppy, and interactive adventures in a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden. Guests can also step into the fair at Bluey’s school with the Grannies, Chattermax, and Unicorse, and delight in some themed foods at Troubadour Tavern, inspired by the animated series.
The Mandalorian Joins Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: May 22, 2026
The Mandalorian and his pint-sized pal Grogu will be taking on a new mission in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The all-new attraction story will be centered around The Mandalorian and Grogu film which arrives in theaters the same weekend.
Pro Tip: On a related note, Hyperspace Mountain will return for a limited time beginning April 28, as part of the annual Season of the Force celebration.
Soarin’ Across America: Taking Flight July 2, 2026
In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the fan-favorite attraction Soarin’ will take off on a brand new airborne adventure across the U.S. Soarin’s newest itinerary will be titled Soarin’ Across America, and will showcase some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes. Patrick will be back as well, to help us prepare for takeoff!
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party: Begins August 18, 2026
This fan favorite separate-ticket event transforms Disney California Adventure park into a family-friendly, frightfully fun after-hours event filled with tricks and treats!
The 2026 Oogie Boogie Bash dates will run on select nights from Tuesday, August 18 through Saturday, October 31, including:
- August 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 30
- September 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29
- October 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29, 31
The party officially runs from 6:00 p.m. to 11 p.m., but guests attending the party can enter the park as early as 3:00 p.m. These three hours are a great time to experience some of the park’s magic before the party officially begins!
Previous Oogie Boogie Bash-specific entertainment and offerings have included:
- Festive character greetings, including Oogie Boogie himself, Agatha Harkness, Judge Doom, and the trio of Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow dressed up as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus, plus many more
- Villains Grove overlay of Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
- Treat Trails – perfect for trick-or-treating
- “Frightfully Fun Parade,” headlined by Jack Skellington
- Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party (extra cost – includes yummy treats and preferred seating for the parade)
- Party-specific food, drinks, and merchandise
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort: August 21-October 31, 2026
In addition to Oggie Boogie Bash, frightfully festive decor and delights return for guests of all ages to enjoy, including seasonal attractions, family-friendly entertainment, and festive food and drink throughout the resort.
Previous Halloweentime offerings at Disneyland resort have included the following:
- Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay of Disneyland’s classic Haunted Mansion attraction
- “Halloween Screams” – a nighttime spectacular filled with haunting projections and special effects showing creatures of the night and Disney Villains like Hades and Ursula
- Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour – a two-hour walking tour across Disneyland park.
- Spooky season themed food, drinks, and merchandise
- Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit! – purchase an activity map and search for Disney-themed pumpkins hidden throughout Disneyland park, Disney California Adventure park, or Downtown Disney District
- More seasonal attraction overlays over at Disney California Adventure, including Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark
- “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” – interactive show in the Disney Theater
- Plaza de la Familia – a “Coco” inspired celebration at Disney California Adventure park,

Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park: August 21-November 2, 2025
Disneyland’s annual celebration of family bonds and the spirit of Día De Los Muertos is inspired by the Disney-Pixar film Coco. Previous festivities associated with Plaza de la Familia have included the following:
- The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia celebrate the story of Coco through song
- Photo opportunity with Miguel, who is brought to life as a hand-animated dimensional figure
- Create an alebrije mask of Pepita or Dante (alebrijes are small figurines of fantastical creatures)
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort: Begins November 18, 2026
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will run from Nov. 18 (Mickey’s birthday!) through the end of the year. Here are a few of the festive touches offered in previous years:
- Mickey Mouse and friends in festive attire
- “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular over Sleeping Beauty castle
- “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” down Main Street
- Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour (additional charge)
- “Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends!” at the Fantasyland Theatre
- Seasonal attraction overlays, including “it’s a small world” Holiday, Haunted Mansion Holiday, Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl, and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree
- Disney Festival of Holidays – Showcasing a diverse season of celebrations through delicious food, a daily rotation of live entertainment and unique merchandise

Disneyland After Dark 2026
Disneyland After Dark will host five themed after-hour events at Disneyland Park in 2026, with four returning fan-favorite themes and the debut of one brand-new theme:
- Sweethearts’ Nite: select nights January 22-February 17, 2026
- 70 Years of Favorites (new this year): March 3 and March 5, 2026
- Disney Channel Nite: April 12, April 14, and April 16, 2026
- Star Wars Nite: April 28, April 30, May 4, and May 6, 2026
- Pride Nite: June 16 and June 18, 2026
Save Money on Your 2026 Disneyland Trip
Disneyland Resort offers a variety of ticket options and special offers for guests planning their 2026 vacations right now, as well as limited-time promotional offers which come available throughout the year. Here are a few of the current offers:
- Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer – A limited-time Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer will be available to purchase beginning Jan. 21, 2026, for visits between May 22 through Sept. 7, 2026. Children ages 3 through 9 can visit Disneyland Resort for as low as $50 per child per day with 1-Day, 2-Day, and 3-Day Park Hopper ticket options. Add Lightning Lane Multi Pass for an additional fee.
- California Resident 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket Deal – On sale beginning Dec. 3, 2025, eligible California residents can purchase 3-Day Park Hopper tickets for as low as $83 a day per person for a total cost of $249 or a 3-Day Park Hopper ticket with Lightning Lane Multi Pass for as low as $117 per person per day for a total cost of $351. This offer is available for visits between Jan. 1 through May 21, 2026. Savings based on regular-priced Adult 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket.
- Save on Select Hotel Stays – Guests can save up to 25% on stays of three or more nights from Jan. 1, 2026, through May 21, 2026, at a Disneyland Resort hotel, subject to availability and restrictions. Extend vacation plans with an on-property stay and save up to 25% on stays of four or more nights from May 22 through Sept. 7, 2026, at a Disneyland Resort Hotel (reservations begin Jan. 21, 2026, and are subject to availability and restrictions).
