“Chewie, we’re home.”
Han Solo’s words to Chewie upon reuniting with their beloved Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens are simple, yet crystal clear. The Falcon is their home, more than any planet, base, or civilization. It’s their safe space, their “happy place.”
For Star Wars fans around the world, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (and a few other spaces in the Disney Parks) is their galactic home-away-from-home. Whether piloting Han’s legendary ship on Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, escaping the grasp of the First Order on Rise of the Resistance, sipping a Fuzzy Tauntaun at Oga’s Cantina, or building a lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop – Star Wars fans will always find a way to live out their own Star Wars adventure.
Outside of Galaxy’s Edge, fans can kick it old school at Star Tours, or meet some favorite characters aboard a Disney Cruise Line Star Wars Day at Sea.

On Episode 116 of the Married to a Disney Addict podcast, I join hosts (and friends) Krystle and Matt Woolley and Megan Kirsch to chat about all our favorite Star Wars spaces and experiences in the Disney Parks.
If you want to be part of a fun and friendly Disney-loving community, join the Married to a Disney Addict Facebook Group. You’ll enjoy the positive discussions, as well as up-to-date releases on the latest podcast episodes (which occasionally feature me!).
