The 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event returns this Summer from August 14 to 16, 2026, in Anaheim, California. The biennial event brings Disney fans and creators together from around the world, and features major showcases at the Honda Center, with a massive show floor at the nearby Anaheim Convention Center.
One of the three marquee evening presentations is the Disney Legends Award Ceremony, honoring creatives and visionaries who have made significant impacts across Disney’s storied history.
The 2026 Disney Legends class includes the following honorees:
- Chris Berman (Sports/Television)
- Jerry Bruckheimer (Film)
- Susan Egan (Stage & Voice)
- Eric Goldberg (Animation)
- Anne Hathaway (Film)
- Bob Iger (Leadership)
- Kim Irvine (Imagineering)
- Dwayne Johnson (Film & Voice)
- The Jonas Brothers (Television & Music)
- Lin-Manuel Miranda (Music)
- Alan Tudyk (Film & Voice)
As you can see, these honorees include widely varied disciplines and personalities, as diverse as Disney storytelling itself.

On a “Legendary” Episode 113 of the Married to a Disney Addict podcast, I join hosts (and friends) Krystle and Matt Woolley and several other friends in the ‘Ohana to discuss the new Legends class. At the end, we each offer our nomination for who else we think should be a Disney Legend.
If you want to be part of a fun and friendly Disney-loving community, join the Married to a Disney Addict Facebook Group. You’ll enjoy the positive discussions, as well as up-to-date releases on the latest podcast episodes (which occasionally feature me!).
While we’re on the topic, check out a few of the Disney Legends bios I’ve created over the years. From Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews, to Mary Blair and Stan Lee, these titans of Disney entertainment are truly gold.
