“Ladies and gentlemen, it’s the Muppet Show!”
Walt Disney World is the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I assert that for the last half-century, the Muppets are the Funniest Show in Town.
Believe it or not, the Muppets have resided in Walt Disney World since 1990 – over 35 years. Throughout that time, the Kermit and friends have made their home base in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where Muppet*Vision 3D stood proudly from 1991 through 2025. But in addition to this iconic Disney Parks attraction, the Muppets have come and gone through Walt Disney World in many other forms over the decades. From stage shows and parades, to restaurants and roving mobile laboratories, the Muppets have sewn their wildly hilarious oats all over Orlando.
Their newest adventure will take them on a high-speed ride through Hollywood as Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem set out on a fast-paced music festival in Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets – debuting Summer 2026.
On an inspirational, celebrational, Muppetational Episode 108 of the Married to a Disney Addict podcast, I join hosts (and friends) Krystle and Matt Woolley and a couple other friends in the ‘Ohana to take a brief trip through the history of the Muppets in Walt Disney World. Then, we do a little “Blue Sky Imagineering” as we dream up ways in which we’d like to enjoy the Muppets in Walt Disney World and beyond.
